Esure.Com Urges UK Travelers To Insure Cameras
British Insurance provider, esure.com, is urging UK travelers to insure valuable items, such as cameras, mobile phones and camcorders. A recent survey, by esure.com, shows that items like cameras are rising in popularity. However, not all travelers are thinking about insuring these valuable items.

Head of travel insurance at esure.com, Jacky Brown, says that people rely on items like cameras, camcorders and mobile phones, but they often forget their value. She also mentions that items like this can be damaged in hot climates or in the beach or sea. Jacky Brown says that "having adequate travel insurance cover is essential for peace of mind".

Esure.com has conducted a recent survey about the traveling habits of Britons. The survey shows that British travelers are taking more photographs than they used to. They state that the average number of photographs taken by British travelers during a holiday is now 86. This is a rise of 37 photographs from what it was five years ago. The rise is due, in part, to the recent popularity of digital cameras and mobile phone cameras. Taking photographs has also become more popular because travelers no longer have to take a lot of film with them - they just need to ensure they have enough memory cards.

The survey also shows that almost one in five travelers take more than one hundred photographs. Three percent of British holidaymakers take over 300 pictures during their holiday and spend over £20 in the development of those photos.

Cameras are not the only popular item for traveling Britons. According to esure.com's poll, digital cameras, mobile phones and camcorders are also popular. UK travelers rely on items like these to take a record of their holiday. Seventy-three percent will have a digital camera with them on holiday. Seventy-two percent will take a mobile phone on holiday. Thirty percent will take a camcorder with them.
