Easyjets New Travel Insurance Deal

Easyjet is a low cost airline. It has inked a three year agreement with Mondial Assistance which has presence in 26 countries world wide to provide travel insurance for its customers. This new deal provides easy online booking and customers receive their document via email within four hours of purchase. This is made possible with their e-fulfiment feature of the policy.

Easyjet provides single trip and multi trip insurance. This package is available in sixteen European countries. Users can also take a stand alone insurance policy in twenty one countries that Easyjet serves.

This new pan European Deal is because many customers go traveling abroad with out proper cover. A study by a travel insurance company has shown that almost 400,000 people go for winter sport every year not possessing the adequate cover. Mondial Assistance along with Easyjet urges it travelers to take adequate cover on their travel insurance policies to offset financial loss due to any eventualities during travel.

The first agreement between Mondial and Easyjet was in 2002 for which their policy was made available online via a whit label internet solution. Easyjet carries more than three million passengers per month and has reported a twenty percent growth of revenue in the third quarter ending September 2006.

The new contract has brought a number of enhancements to their present list of products. This contract has helped Easyjet expand its European network along with Mondial and thus provide quality service to customers across the region.
