Beneficiary
On a travel insurance policy, the insured will name a beneficiary. The beneficiary is the person or group of people the insured names to get the benefits if the policy holder should be killed while on the trip.

While we do not want to think about dying while on a trip, accidents do occur. Think carefully about whom you name as your beneficiaries if you are to be in an accident. Many people choose their spouse and/or children to be the beneficiaries on their account.

When choosing travel insurance, make sure that your beneficiaries will receive enough coverage to take care of the funeral expenses and give them some extra to live on. Travel insurance is great because you can leave your beneficiaries quite a bit of benefit with a fairly small premium, because it is considered so safe to travel in today's society. To make sure your beneficiaries are covered by buying travel insurance coverage.
