Annual Coverage
When purchasing travel insurance, you have the option to purchase annual travel insurance. Annual insurance is sometimes called multi-trip insurance. This type of insurance covers all of the trips taken within a year.

There are some stipulations on annual trip insurance. Usually the trips have a maximum duration that is applied. The trips will only be covered if they are from 30-120 days per trip. This keeps people from abusing annual trip insurance to cover long term moves. There are other types of travel insurance for those situations.

If your job demands that you travel frequently, then annual trip insurance might be a good option for your insurance needs. You will not have to worry about buying trip insurance every time you go on a trip. You just have to purchase your insurance policy once a year. However, if you are going to only be taking a few trips, annual trip insurance is probably more expensive than you need.
